Thank you so much to the IPSHA QLD Branch for inviting me along to speak on Investing in Wellbeing on February 28, 2014 at Citipointe Christian College. I really appreciated it.

Please find following the feedback from the day as well as some extra specific information that participants requested.

IPSHA QLD Presentation Feedback Specific Feedback for Jane on the “Invest in YOU” Presentation -

  • “The course material was terrific with links to theory and practice. I can’t wait to reflect through the course booklet. I would really appreciate some more time to unpack the materials in the booklet. I need to commit to myself to change. Overall – terrific!”
  • “Jane, I wasn’t keen to attend this session because I thought “I heard it all before”, but I soon realised that what you presented today was completely different and very useful. I have the “tools” to create the systems, but now I know how to do it.”
  • “Thank you – reaffirmation is always good. Sessions like this should be regular at all levels. Self investment – it is about you and it is OK.”
  • Very warm presenter.”
  • “A thoughtful presentation style.”
  • “Appreciated the time to think and reflect. Very calm and relaxed presenter. Enjoyed the anecdotes and personal experiences – felt connected to the ideas you presented.”
  • “Lovely pacing.”
  • “Delivered with authenticity.”
  • “I felt a sense of peacefulness from you, that allowed me to relax.”
  • “Do more of the same!”
  • “Simple language, some very useful strategies, plenty of time (and you didn’t let it drag on), excellent – just what I needed after a hard week!”
  • “Excellent delivery of content and material.”
  • “Very simple, yet makes the most sense. Excellent delivery and reference to audience. Booklet will be a great tool for people to use and be able to refer to and also provide impetus to make ‘real’ change. Good pace and delivery. Good relation to audience and profession. Very good all round!”
  • “An excellent presentation, thank you for allowing us to stop, reflect and allow the time to think about ways to assist us in looking at wellbeing for ourselves.”
  • “Jane thank you for your ability to read your audience and keep the workshop moving at an appropriate pace. Your personal journey has helped create a confident and relevant workshop. Thank you.”
  • “The session was a good length to take some valuable lessons from. The small number of ‘workshop type activities’ allowed for personal reflection as well as your wealth of experiences.”
  • “Thank you Jane. I enjoyed having the time to reflect on my own values and tasks. I found this very useful.”
  • “Impose an expectation that we all identify 3 ways we can improve our balance, starting next Monday. This could give something concrete to take away.” Thanks – my apologies as I forgot to ask at the end, will do next time.
